Dokla is an Indian Gujarati dish. Dokla is a quality and tasty dish. And these are very soft.
Ingredients:
Ingredients for Dokla Mixture:
150g of pea flour
Cups of buffalo milk (redeemed milk-Curd)
Tablespoons of lime juice1
Baking soda (baking soda) tbsp
A little yellow powder (if desired)
2-3 cloves of minced raw chillies
1 teaspoon of minced ginger
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt (to taste)
Ingredients for Temperature:
About 2-3 teaspoons of mustard seeds
About 5 - 5 teaspoons of ginger
Curry leaves
About 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
4-5 spikes of escaped raw chillies
Tablespoons of sugar ½ - about 1
A little less than a small cup of water
2 - 3 tablespoons of oil
Ingredients for presentation:
1 - 2 tablespoons grated coconut
A bit of chopped coriander leaves
How to make:
First add salt, baking soda and turmeric powder to the pea flour, mix well, sift through a sieve and place in a bowl.
Then put some buffalo milk, lime juice, ground green chillies, ground ginger and a little oil in another bowl and mix well with a fork. (Or you can whisk or beat a little.)
Then add the buffalo milk mixture to the pea flour mixture and mix well to make a slightly thicker butter. (If it looks too thick, add a little water.)
Then take a pot that can be put in the steamer, add a little oil and leave the mixture for about an hour. (Do not overfill the jar, just fill it up like that.)
Then put it in the steamer and steam it for about 10-12 minutes.
After boiling, let the cooked dokla dry for about 5 minutes and cut into pieces.
Meanwhile, put a pan on the stove, add oil and heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds and let the mustard explode.
Then add ginger, curry leaves, sesame seeds and raw chillies and bring to the boil.
Then add some water with sugar
Once the mixture boils, heat it for another 1-2 minutes and remove from the heat.
Pour the cooled mixture over the dokla and leave it for 5-10 minutes.
Top with chopped coriander leaves and grated sticks on top of the finished dokla.
Our Dokla can be served with things like Green Chutney, Coconut Chutney, Moru, Plain Raita, and Salted Curd.
important:
If you like, you can add pieces of chilli instead of raw chillies that have escaped to the temperament.
You can also make any type of oil you like.
When mixing the docla mixture, always stir with only one hand.
Steam Do not add the docla mixture until the pot is full.
Stick a clean toothpick or something like a toothpick in the middle of the dock and see if the toothpick / toothpick comes out clean or not.
