Banana Poori

 


Today I am going to tell you about a dish that can be made from bananas. This is called "Puri", Puri made from bananas! You can make these as a snack.

Ingredients:

 2 bananas 

1-2 tablespoons of sugar

 1/4 cup of yogurt

 A little baking soda

 Ginger 1 tbsp

  1/2 teaspoon of salt

 2 cups of bread flour

  Oil for frying


 How to make:

First take a bowl, add 2 bananas, sugar and mash the bananas with a fork.

Then add baking soda, salt, ginger and yoghurt to the bananas and mix well with a spoon.

Then add some flour and knead well until it looks like a ball of flour.

After frying for about 5 minutes, spread a little oil around the dough.

Then cover with a lunch sheet and set aside for 8 hours.

After 8 hours, take this dough ball and knead it a little more by hand and make some more small balls from this mixture.

Then put some flour on a board, take a small ball and place it on top of the board to thin it out. Like bread. You can use a rolling pin or a clean glass bottle for this.

Now heat oil in a pan and take this thin filling and fry it in oil. When these are put in hot oil, they explode like papadam. Keep in mind that at this time you need to keep the stove on fire. That is, not less but more.

In this way, fry all the puris until golden brown. Once everything is fried we can eat it with something like chutney.
