A nutritious soup



 You can't always cook and eat rice.  But you can't do anything without cooking.  There is nothing wrong with making a very easy soup and eating it with a slice of bread overnight.

Ingredients:

Tablespoons of butter2

3/4 cup chopped onion (Onion)

2 cups of finely chopped potatoes

1 1/2 cups water

1/2 teaspoon of dried plantain leaves (optional only)

1/2 teaspoon of salt

 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

1 3/4 cup of fresh milk

Tablespoons of chopped bacon3

1 tablespoon of dried parsley leaves or to taste

 How to make:

First, heat a saucepan over low heat, add butter, and let it melt.  Now add some onion pieces and fry for about 10 minutes until slightly browned.

Now add potatoes, water, spinach leaves (if used) and pepper and let it boil for a while.

Then reduce the heat and simmer the potatoes until the water in the pot evaporates.  It takes about thirty minutes.

Now, add milk and bacon to this potato mixture and let it dance.

Then put it in the oven, add the parsley and stir.  that's all!  The soup is done!  Potatoes are not creamed in this recipe. You can't always cook and eat rice.
